Doloprin
(75mg Enteric-Coated Aspirin for Prevention of Cardiovascular Events)
Doloprin® is an effective blood-thinner that assures uninterrupted blood circulation. It protects your heart and reduces risk of cardiac arrest and sudden death. We have made it enteric-coated to suit all patients, particularly those at risk of gastrointestinal ulcers. The drug is recommended for primary and secondary prevention of heart disease.
Mechanism of Action
Doloprin (Aspirin) stops clots formation in the blood vessels and ensures uninterrupted blood flow throughout the body. The clots partially or completely block the blood vessels thereby hampering blood flow and increasing stress on the heart. As a result the blood flow and oxygen supply to different parts of the body is restricted (ischemia). When the clot is bigger, it completely occludes blood flow increasing risk of a sudden heart attack. Aspirin prevents all of this. It is a platelet-aggregation inhibitor and prevents clot formation. It also breaks down existing clots.
– Aspirin also resolves inflammation and fever.
Doloprin is used for primary prevention of cardiac arrest in:
- Men over 40
- Smokers
- Medical conditions that inadvertently stress heart such as diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia
- Postmenopausal women
- Adults with sedentary lifestyle
- Stress
- History of cardiovascular disease
