Active Ingredients
Finasteride: Finasteride is a medication mainly used to treat male pattern baldness. It is also used to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. It is only for use in men.
Mechanism of Action
Naturally occurring enzym – 5- alpha – reductase, convert the naturally occurring hormone, testosterone, into another form called dihydrotestosterone (DHT). These effect the scalp hair follicles in men, which eventually decrease the number of visible hair on the scalp. Finarow tablets work by acting upon the enzym – 5- alpha – reductase to stop the formation of dihydrotestosterone (DHT). This helps in slowing down the process of miniaturization of the hair follicles and stops hair loss.
Uses
It is used for the treatment of:
- Androgenic Alopecia (male pattern hair loss)
Dosage & Instructions
- Take one tablet daily, with or without meal
- For visible, better results, the tablets should be taken for a period of 3 month or more
