- Ethambutol HCL
- Rifampicin

Mechanism of action
Rifin® – E work by infiltrating actively growing infected cells and inhibits the synthesis of one or more essential metabolites. This results in impairment of their growth and reproduction, and ultimately causes cell death.
Rifampicin® inhibits enzymatic activity in infected cells which inhibits their growth and reproduction, while safeguarding healthy mammalian cells.

Precautions & Contraindications
Rifin® – E is contradicted in patients with:
- jaundice
- history of sensitivity to any of the active ingredients
- optic neuritis
- liver dysfunction
- Also, pregnant and breast-feeding women should avoid using the drug.
Dosage & Instructions
Patients should be given a single dose at least 1-2 hours before a meal.
- Patients weighing 40-49kg: 3 tablets
- Patients weighing 50kg and more: 4 tablets
