Zanrel^® belongs to the dihydropyridine class of calcium antagonist. It is used for the treatment of hypertension or isolated systolic hypertension as an add-on therapy. Zanrel^® prevents the calcium buildup in the heart muscles and relaxes the blood vessels for free blood circulation around the body. This calcium blocking lowers blood pressure and improves the overall heart efficiency. Zanrel^®, with balanced hepato-renal clearance, also helps prevent heart disease, heart attacks and strokes.

Active Ingredients

Each Zanrel^® tablet contains lercanidipine hydrochloride as an active ingredient. Lercanidipine treats hypertension by making your heart easily pump the blood throughout the body.
