How Lomexin® Works
Lomexin®–works by triple-inhibitory action:
- It stops the growth and adhesion of fungi and bacteria by directly inhibiting their secretory aspartate proteinase and pyruvate oxidoreductase enzymes
- It inhibits the fungal cell wall integrity by inhibiting the cytochrome P450 3A enzyme
- It disrupts the normal functioning of the fungal cell by inhibiting its oxidase and peroxidase enzymes
