Maxius® Lozenge and Mouthwash are medicated lozenges and liquid used for the treatment of mouth infections, bronchitis, gingival inflammation, dental plaque and other conditions arising from cold or influenza. It comes in many flavors like pineapple, mango, mint, honey, and banana to counter the metallic taste in the mouth.
Maxius® lozenges are is intended to be gradually melted in the mouth to provide symptomatic relief to inflamed sinus and infectious respiratory tracts by lubricating and soothing the irritated pharynx and larynx. Maxius® also serves as cough suppressants.
Active Ingredients
Tibezonium Iodide (TI): an antiseptic salt consisting of quaternary ammonium cation. TI is an antibacterial that prevents microbial growth in the mouth. is specified in the treatment of conditions like alveolitis, mouth infections, pharyngitis, stomatits, gingivitis, and mouth sepsis.
Mechanism of Action
Maxius® works by dissolving and rinsing in the mouth to provide calming effect to the lymphatic irritation in the throat. It improves the patient’s condition by treating the gingival inflammation felt during swallowing, breathing, or even drinking.
