Active Ingredients
Naproxen Sodium: is a potent inhibitor of prostaglandin synthesis, a chemical responsible for pain, inflammation and fever. Naproxen exerts its anti-inflammatory, anti-pyretic and analgesic effect by inhibiting cyclooxegenase (COX-1 & COX-II) enzymes that catalyze formation of prostaglandins.
Betaine: assists in the rapid absorption of naproxen sodium into the stomach mucosa to relieve pain rapidly. It also reduces acid production in the stomach and reduces risk of gastrointestinal (GI) ulceration.
